Luxury Tented Camp Adventures by Exotissimo

Exotissimo Travel planned this tour for four days and three night tour which starts with arrival at the Four Seasons camp pier where a personal guide will welcome you and take you to the camp site on a long trail boat. Once at the Four Seasons Tented Camp, you are welcomed to one of the only 15 exclusive tented accommodations. The tents are at comfortable distance from each other to give you enough privacy. Each of the tents is designed with an open space with a large outdoor deck where a custom-made wooden hot tub is fixed. The elephant-tusk-style door handles leads you into a living area of 54 square meters. Amongst other things, the open-plan bathroom features a custom-made, hand-hammered, two person bathtub with a hand shower in the center of the tent. And if that wasn’t enough, you have an outdoor rain shower with separate WC. The luxurious sleeping area has a comfortable king sized bed with mosquito netting. A very classic 19-centery feel has been given to the tents with the color combinations, the furnishing and designing.



At the camp site you get to relax and sip on tea before going out to explore this resort or to spot wildlife with a camp naturalist.



Once back, enjoy ‘sundowner’ cocktails with the setting sun. Then get ready to try the local and international delicacies to be served at the Nong Yao Restaurant. Keeping in mind the camp theme, food is served on a long family style table where you can interact with other guests at the resort or enjoy the meal separately on your own table.

The next morning you wake up and get ready to learn about how to take care of an elephant. You meet your personal professional mahout (elephant trainer) who will teach you how to treat an elephant and prepare you for the elephant trekking later in the afternoon. After breakfast and leisure time, you can lounge by the pool or go fishing with a local guide.



After lunch at the Nong Yao Restaurant you will get ready to try your mahout-ing skills that you learned earlier. You will trek with the elephant and take a ride around the area with your personal professional mahout with you all throughout.



After coming back to the camp site, enjoy cocktails and dinner at the Burma Bar which overlooks the Ruak River and Burma while enjoying the perfect views of the sunset. The bar’s home-like atmosphere and leather couches is the perfect place to enjoy the serenity of the environment.



After a good sleep, wake up in the morning for yet another exciting day. After breakfast one takes a scenic cruise along the Mekong River while stopping at the villages and shops. You come back to the camp site for lunch at the Nong Yao Restaurant. In the afternoon, relax, enjoy the scenery or take a crafts class. Later in the afternoon, enjoy your tea and then get pampered with a Thai Massage at the resort’s extravagant Four Seasons Spa.



After sundowners tonight, enjoy a barbeque dinner at the open-air thatched roof lounge of Burma Bar before going back to your luxury tent for some much needed rest.



In the morning, after breakfast at the Nong Yao restaurant, you will be transferred to the Chiang Rai Airport for your return flight to Bangkok.
